Department of Critical Care Medicine at Gemcare Poulomi Hospitals is well equipped for handling critically ill patients, severely injured patients, severely infected patients, as well as complicated cases or circumstances that require extensive medical care. The department is equipped with state of the art technology required for handling any type of emergency from ventilator to even ECMO.

The department provides 24 hour monitoring by critical care nurses, physiotherapists, pharmacists, dietitians, and other relevant & specially trained healthcare professionals trained to meet the high demands of this special patient care. We divided ICUs into cardiac, post-operative, medical & pediatric/neonatal.

The Department of Critical Care Medicine features state-of-the art medical equipment, including a computerized monitoring system and a computerized medication administration record to ensure attendance and clinical intervention.
